Goodwood Campus Update
By Teri Fontenot

Now that the new hospital construction is underway, our focus has shifted to identifying the next use for the current campus.  Beau Box Commercial Realty has been engaged to find buyers who will continue to enhance the area and add value to the surrounding neighborhoods. In the current economic climate the potential buyer pool is limited, but since we won’t vacate the site for two years, researching options and preparing the promotional materials now will ensure that we are well-positioned when the real estate market recovers.

Woman’s Recognized at Valley 50th Anniversary Celebration

Valley commemorated its 50th anniversary last weekend with a blowout celebration at The Marriott Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Alabama. The weekend featured a Mardi Gras-themed ball complete with Louisiana cuisine, New Orleans décor, a lively jazz band, and even king cakes! Valley commissioned full-sized street signs to be made and displayed in the ballroom in honor of their most notable accounts. A street sign deemed “Woman’s Hospital Road” stood proudly at the entrance to the gala and was presented to the Woman’s team at the culmination of the event.
