Welcome
Lynn Weill has been named Vice President/Chief Development
Officer. Prior to joining Woman's, Lynn served as Vice President
for Development and Chief Development Officer at Mary Bird
Perkins Cancer Center.
Her earlier experiences include working with the Capital Area
United Way as Vice President of Leadership/Major Gifts, and
serving in several managerial roles at the Baton Rouge General
Medical Center. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in
Education from Louisiana State University.
Lynn is a member of the Baton Rouge Chapter of the Association
of Fundraising Professionals, where she served as President in
2006. She is also a member of the Association of Healthcare
Professionals and the Planned Giving Council of Greater Baton
Rouge. |

Her
honors and recognitions include being named one of the Influential Women
in Business in 2005 by the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report, as well
as a Marketer of the Year by SME of Greater Baton Rouge in 2003. In
1999, she was inducted into the Baton Rouge High School Hall of Fame and
received the Congregation B'nai Israel President's Award for her service
to her synagogue.
Lynn is also an active community member and has served many
organizations in leadership roles. Currently, she serves on the boards
of the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge and Congregation B'nai Israel. She
also serves on the YWCA ENCOREplus Advisory Committee and is a member of
Leadership/Greater Baton Rouge Alumni and Capital Area Network.

Don't miss an evening of fun entertainment, food, and a chance to
bid on original, one-of-a-kind chairs created specifically for this
event by local artists. Funds raised go to benefit the
Community Care Fund at Woman's Hospital, which helps provide vital
healthcare services and programs for women and infants in our
community.
Participants will be able to sample food from: Ruffino's,
Sullivan's, Bonefish Grill, Vic's Chophouse, Mansurs,
Maxwell's Market, The Wine Loft, TJ Moran Restaurants, Sweet
Wishes and more. Beverages will also be provided by
Republic Liquor, Mockler Beverage, Baton Rouge Coca-Cola and
The Wine Loft. Music for the evening will be provided
by the V-tones. |

The event will take place
at the Louisiana State Museum from 6pm - 10pm on Saturday, August 23. Tickets are $50 for the public and $25 for
