Thirteenth Annual Mistletoe Marketplace
The thirteenth annual mistletoe marketplace was held
Friday, November
30, 2007. All items were
made by our very talented employees and included items such as jewelry, hair bows, garden
décor, hand sewn items, baked goodies, purses, paper crafts and so
much more.

Hospital Mourns Loss of Founder
Dr. A. T. Montagnino, one of the founders of Woman's Hospital, died
Friday, November 16, 2007, at his home at the age of 91. His dedication
to the women and infants of Baton Rouge helped to build the foundation
of Woman's Hospital's culture. He was the hospital's chief of staff in
1978 and through his leadership
helped to ensure the hospital's continued success.
A retired physician and resident and native of Baton Rouge, he was
born March 31, 1916. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a
graduate of LSU School of Medicine and a member of LSU Medical Alumni
Association, American Medical Association, East Baton Rouge Parish
Medical Society, Louisiana State Medical Society, The American College
of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American College of Physicians and
American College of Surgeons. He was past president of Sherwood Forest
Country Club and member of Our Lady of Mercy Church and the Sertoma Club
of Baton Rouge. He was a beloved father and a true LSU and Woman's
Hospital fan. He will be missed but his legacy will remain.
