QUOTABLE
QUOTES
Happy
Thanksgiving
If the only prayer
you ever said in your whole life was,
"Thank you", that would suffice.
- Meister Eckhart
As we express our
gratitude, we must never forget that the
highest
appreciation is not to utter words,
but to live by
them.
- John Fitzgerald Kennedy
Thanksgiving Day
comes by statute, once a year;
to the honest man
it comes as frequently as the heart of gratitude will allow.
- Edward Sandford
Martin
Thanksgiving,
after all, is a word of action.
- W.J. Cameron
Thanksgiving was
never meant to be shut-up in a single day.
- Robert Casper
Lintner
Thanksgiving
dinners take eighteen hours to prepare.
They are consumed
in 12 minutes. Half-time takes 12 minutes.
This is not a
coincidence.
- Erma Bombeck
An optimist is a
person who begins a new diet on Thanksgiving Day.
- Irv Kupcinet
Thanksgiving comes
to us out of the prehistoric dimness, and
it is universal to
all ages and all faiths.
At whatever straw
we must grasp, there is always
a time for
gratitude and new beginnings.
- J. Robert Moskin

40
Extraordinary Years
Since
1968, Woman’s Hospital has been
proud to serve as a vital part of
the greater Baton Rouge community.
We’ve seen a lot of change in our
world during the past 40 years. But
one that thing has never changed is
the commitment of the team at
Woman’s to its mission: to improve
the health of women and infants.
Through the years, Woman’s has
touched virtually everyone in this
community in some way – assisting
with the birth of your child or
grandchild, helping your mother,
daughter or wife in her fight
against breast cancer, a reassuring
hand just before you went in for
surgery…the list goes on. This is
our week to celebrate. Join us
