Visit Our Jean Watson “Caring Corner”

As part of our ongoing Magnet Redesignation preparation efforts, we have established the Jean Watson “Caring Corner” in the Woman’s Hospital Medical Library. This resource area contains an extensive array of books and articles by, and about, Jean Watson, and showcases how her philosophy of caring can be operationalized in nursing practice, research, and education.

  • List strategies that will facilitate family/professional collaboration in the NICU.

Program Overview:  End of life issues are always difficult to address. However, when dealing with the death of an infant, it is particularly difficult for all concerned. Come and learn ways to make memories for the grieving family, how to care for the family, and how to address one’s own feelings.
