Self Service Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) is pleased to bring you - Employee Self Service. Employee Self Service (ESS) is a web-based tool that you can use to view your personal information, benefits elections, deduction information, and tax withholding status. It is a convenient place for you to find all of our company policies, information on discounts, and electronic forms. During this first phase of ESS, you are able to change your personal information such as your name, address, marital status, and telephone number. In the future, employees can use ESS to request time off or make changes to their benefit elections, tax withholding, and direct deposit information. If you haven't already, log on to ESS and take a look around. If you have any feedback regarding your experience, please email Brian Watkins. Breast Cancer ScreeningsBreast cancer is the most common non-skin cancer in women and the second leading cause of cancer deaths in women in the United States. Every woman is at risk, and this risk increases with age. Breast cancer can usually be successfully treated when found early. What factors increase
risk for breast cancer?
Risk for
breast cancer increases
with age. So it is important to have a regular screening mammogram
annually. Many employees have made numerous suggestions related to signage and helping our visitors and patients more effectively find where they need to be in the hospital. Through the employee focus groups, VP luncheon suggestions and emails to administration, many of your ideas have been explored.
Currently, one suggestion mentioned by various employees
is in the process of being implemented.
Also, employees noted that stairwell doors slam shut disturbing resting patients. Building Operations staff checked all of the stairwell doors in the hospital to ensure that rubber stoppers were secured on each. These stoppers will help to alleviate the door making so much noise when it shuts. Thank you to everyone who has sent a suggestion. Your ideas are helping to improve patient experiences so keep them coming. Feel free to email jodi.conachen@womans.org your ideas. Thanks!
